These are the rules set by the CITY OF NEW BRAUNFELS. These are not established by Float In. City officials have the authority to enforce these rules while you are in the COMAL RIVER or across the river on CITY PROPERTY. Tickets for violating CITY rules while visiting Float In are not responsibility or given by Float In staff. Tickets are legal and handled through the CITY. We are a private location offering you our own services.

We recommend and partner with the following locations!

No, we do not own the river and items lost in the river do not get turned into us.

The City of NB has a form you can fill out, HERE

Weekends and Holidays draw large crowds, with Saturdays being our busiest day of the week. We recommend families to visit us during the week.

Glass & Styrofoam are not allowed in the river, alongside it, nor on our property. Remember, pickles and jam like to come in glass, the material is still not allowed. Please re-package ANY AND ALL glass or Styrofoam items into re-usable metal/hard plastic ones.

Depending on the crowds, the float is about 1.5 hours to 2 hours from our property to the last public exit.

The Comal is a natural river and its depth varies throughout. From 2 feet up to 16 feet. Our property is in an amazing location where many can stand and hangout in the water. Life vests are recommended for all weak swimmers & available to borrow on site for free.

Having pre-purchased Tube Packages will ensure a quicker entry process and we highly recommend purchasing in advance.

Waivers are digital. When you book online you will be prompted to sign a waiver along with a link to invite other guests on your booking to sign before arrival. Head to the TUBING tab to book your Tube Packages or Cabanas.

We are excited to share our brand-new tubes with you. Tube use is included in your tube package & in a circulatory use program. This eliminates tubes sitting around the property and not being used and causing safety hazards. With that, outside tubes will not be allowed.

No. You cannot access the City Tube Chute from our property or go through our property to access. The Chute is owned by the City of New Braunfels and there is a fee to use it. Follow this link for more Chute information including the fee’s associated.

We are a family friendly business, and all guests should feel comfortable visiting with their families.
